Meet Our Cast

Scarlet Redd

Like I daily have to remind guests, I’m not a wench, but a PIRATE! After all, I didn’t follow in my mother’s footsteps! My father was brave and loyal, but deaf as a plank. He retired happily to enjoy the silence after a pistol shot broke out both his eardrums. Lucky for him, me mum is a terrible shot! I adore sailin’, scallywaggin’, gettin’ what I want, fightin’, drinkin’, and breakin’ the hearts and souls of men.

My ship ran aground on Tybee Island and this tavern was my first stop. After two days of drinkin’ and gamblin’, I won the whole bar in a game of cards. Now I’m happily retired and livin’ my best life in this fine company.

John Boy

I was born at a very young age. Me mother was a wombat and me father didn’t even care to be anythin’ at all. At least, that’s what the crew that took me in told me. The two turned out to make a rather fierce pirate though. Me favorite things? Lootin’. Bootin’. Shootin’. When I’m not on the Seas, you can find me in some quiet tavern plannin’ me next expedition. I enjoy the smell of the Seas and gunfire. Me favorite card game? 52 Card Pick Up!

Don’t tell ’em, but I’m waitin’ for these museum folks to turn a blind eye so I can rob the place dry and take me leave.

I be the only child to fisherman parents. From a young age, I was acquainted with the sea, which made it easy for me Ma to sell me off into a life of piracy. One second, I was talkin’ to a grimy lookin’ Englishman, the next I be wakin’ up on a ship! I still send me ol’ lady some of the loot I plunder though— I respect her hustle. As the smartest (and angriest) mate on board, I take charge on plannin’ and leadin’ our attacks. I like to get under the skin of me fellow pirates, so you can often find me hustlin’ a card game or riggin’ the dice (shhh!) When I’m not slingin’ daggers, breakin’ hearts, or shufflin’ decks, I be the primetime entertainment on the ship! My crewmates LOVE my shanties and stories… or else.

How did I find meself here? Ye see, I had to call in a wee favor. There be no more King’s Pardon to forgive me of all my vicious crimes and reputation. To scape retribution, I simply offered me services on this here ship. However, if ye be a mischievous scallywag, we can join forces to take this place for all it’s worth. The emeralds are mine.

Emi the Hand

If ye spot a grin brighter than the sunrise or a fist faster than a frigate, that be me. No soul truly knows where I hailed from, but all along this coast, folks whisper I be the friendliest pirate ye’ll ever meet. Quick with a jest and quicker to lend a hand, I’ve outwitted more rivals with a wink and a laugh louder than cannon fire, than with steel. Even the grumpiest old sea dog can’t help but crack a smile when I’m around!
Some say a storm blew me off course, others claim I slipped past a fleet and into port by moonlight, but truth is, I just followed the sound of music and the promise of a well-poured pint right to Savannah. When I landed, I brought tales of wild escapes and daring rescues. Give me a crowded tavern and a good grog, and I’ll have half the room shantyin’ by midnight!
Life at sea’s the grandest adventure, and to me, there be no finer treasure than good company and a hearty laugh!
